Terms of sale.

1. Who and what

These terms are between you and UXBD ("we", "us"), which makes and sells the products listed on uxbd.net/products. They cover every UXBD product, its website, and the services behind it. Using a product or buying a plan means you accept these terms. A product may add terms of its own on its own site; ReDock's are at tryredock.com/terms, and where the two differ, the product's terms apply to that product.

2. Licences and free products

Products sold under the UXBD name are digital. A purchase gives you a licence to use the product on the terms shown on its own page at the time you buy. A free product or a free plan is provided as is: we work to keep it reliable, and every release is logged, but we do not promise it is free of faults.

3. Accounts

A product that needs an account needs a real email address, and your sign-in is yours to keep to yourself. Where a product connects to a site or a service you control, you must be allowed to manage that site or service.

4. Subscriptions and renewal

  • A paid plan is a subscription billed monthly or yearly, in US dollars, at the price on the product page when you buy. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • UXBD is the seller. Payment is taken by UXBD, or by a payment provider named at checkout, and the receipt names UXBD.
  • If a price changes, we tell you by email before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
  • If a payment fails, the plan keeps working while the payment is retried. If it cannot be collected, the plan ends at the end of the paid period and the account returns to the free plan. Nothing you made is deleted because a plan ended.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, from the product's account or billing page or by email to hello@uxbd.net. Cancelling stops the next renewal. The plan stays until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing more is charged.

6. Refunds

If a paid plan does not do what its page says, write within 14 days of the payment and you get that payment back in full. Renewals charged by mistake are refunded when you ask within 14 days of them. The full policy, including how to ask, is on the refunds page and forms part of these terms.

7. Your content

What you make with a UXBD product is yours. We claim no rights over your sites, code, content, media or data. You give us only the permission we need to run the product: to store what the privacy policy lists, and to carry out the actions you ask for.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use a UXBD product or service for unlawful content, for abuse, to attack other systems, to send unsolicited mail, or to reach systems you are not allowed to manage. We may suspend an account or a shared address used this way, and we tell you when we do unless the law prevents it.

9. Availability

Our hosted services run on Cloudflare's network. We work to keep them available and we tell you about incidents that affect you, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. A desktop product does not depend on our service to do its local work.

10. Ending things

You can stop using a product at any time and can have your account and everything we hold about it deleted by writing to us. We may close an account that breaches these terms. If we discontinue a paid service, we give paying customers notice and a refund for any period paid but not used.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of a product, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

12. Third parties

Names and logos of other companies' products on our sites say that a product works with them, not that they endorse us. Your use of those products is on their terms, and their charges are theirs.

13. Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes, and a change that matters to a paying customer is emailed before it applies.

14. Contact

hello@uxbd.net. We answer within two working days.
